Yuzen Dyeing Experience In Kyoto 刷り込み友禅体験会

It's nice and warm in Kyoto. Today we had an April Kyoto culture experience. We learn the way of making Yuzen-zome goods. Yuzen is one of the Dyeing method using in Kimono.

Marumasu Nishimuraya- It's large shop located in Karasuma Oike. Only 6 mins waking from the subway so it's handy to access!

At the shop, there are some Japanese school students sitting beside us.

We picked up the products and then decided a patten what you gonna make.

It's 1 hour course but we stay around 1.5 hours. The shop owner was really kind and happy to accept us to make the products nice! Once you start painting, you will forgot the time😊✨

We all concentrated to patinting and made the original good for ourself!!

I really recommend this shop to try in you are interested in Japanese Culture.👍👍

And then we went to Fukumimi cafe to have a chat. And "Little Good bye party for guest". I miss her a lot...😭😭 I hope she had a good time in Kyoto.😊💕

4月20日の京都文化体験会は、友禅染体験会でした！着物を染める時などにも使われています。🤓

今日は入門コースを体験しました。

型紙の上から、色を塗り、色を重ねて、美しいグラデーションを作ります。淡い独自の表現です。これが友禅染と言われるテクニックです。🤓🤓

✨✨西村屋さんの工房『繭（まゆ）』で、作りました。✨✨

１時間のコースでしたが、大幅に押して1.５時間😅💦💦 しかし、オーナーさんが、自分の気にいるように出来上がるまで、ゆっくり作って大丈夫ですよと言ってくださいました。優しいおじいちゃんでした〜😆
