The surrounding area, the old street, our ancients walked it to Tokyo called, Tokai-Dou, invites you to get into a history trip like. A lot of tourists try to walk the top of Higashiyama Mountain. Beautiful green views, fresh air, and some traditional housings view are welcoming you. The house is located on the entrance and back of that street so it is very quiet.
Also it is interesting that a lot of small streets is like a big maze. You will find a lot of amazing small old shops!

-The Soba cookie is made on this area from 400 years ago.-

- Imagumano shopping streets is only 5 mins walking from the house. Sushi bar, Bakery shops, Yaoya(small markets), Banks, Green tea shops, post office, supermarkets, Bars, Izakaya and so on. If you are good at shopping, you can really save a lot for daily needs.
